COMMENT | The great tragedy of Malaysia is the DAP is nothing as how Abdul Hadi Awang describes.

Far from being a moderating or civilising force for religious extremism in this country (which is what secularism is), the DAP has colluded with and enabled various Malay power brokers in an attempt to sustain power in state and federal legislatures.

Vijay47 : Needless to say, I am not at all qualified to contribute to a discussion as complex as this one save to say that while Hadi Awang and PAS have remained as constant as the Northern Star, DAP has metamorphosized into unimaginable change stepping over, in his own words, Karpal Singh’s dead body.

Commander Thayaparan speaks also of “a topic for another time, maybe when Hadi becomes prime minister”. I doubt very much, good sir, that writing facilities and liberties would then await you and many from Malaysiakini in Kajang should things indeed come to pas.
