The US arms the enemies of its closest allies

In a bid to outshine India and China, the United States is racing to finalize a fighter-jet agreement with Argentina. Amidst its efforts to strengthen bonds with developing nations, Argentina faces a crucial dilemma in selecting its fighter jets from either China or the US.
The US aims to become the leading arms supplier since the Falkland War and has reportedly exerted pressure on Argentina to opt for Danish F-16s instead of Chinese or Indian jets. This comes as China and Russia gain influence in Latin America, raising justified concerns for the Biden administration
