No Atheists
In A Foxhole

Rudyard Kipling

" ā€œWhen you're left wounded on
Afganistan's plains and

the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle

and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldierā€
General Douglas MacArthur

" ā€œWe are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.ā€

ā€œIt is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.ā€
ā€œOld soldiers never die; they just fade away.
ā€œThe soldier, above all other people, prays for peace,
for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.ā€
ā€œMay God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .ā€
ā€œThe object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.

ā€œNobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
ā€œIt is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

DAP stays in govt with 'convincing majority' By Qistina Nadia Dzulqarnain
Sunday, August 16, 2026

DAP Is A Bloody Disappointment, they forgot this crowd that stood in the rain

Malaysiakini : A "convincing majority" of DAP delegates have voted for the party to remain in the government until the end of the parliamentary term. Out of 2,099 valid ballot papers from the anonymous voting process, 1,857 delegates voted in favour of the motion tabled earlier today by DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke.

Another 242 delegates voted against the motion, while seven ballot papers were considered spoilt votes. A total of 2,223 delegates, or 52.1 percent of its registered grassroots representatives, attended the DAP National Conference 2026 at the Putrajaya International Conference Centre.

Harmonious Harmony : Yes convincing. 52% of grassroots reps voted . Why didn’t the 48 % not attend a watershed meeting ?

Dr Suresh Kumar : Half of the delegates did not attend. How can you call it a 'convincing majority'. What is the reason for their absence? Looks more like theatrics.

YellowCougar2847 : Only 52% present in the conference. So how can be convincing majority? About half of the delegates have given up on the party and see no reason to attend! The POOR ATTENDANCE must show the lack of interest in the FUTURE of DAP! Another interpretation!

Optimus : The decision was no surprise; it felt like a scripted wayang from the start. DAP’s leadership and delegates have moved the red line yet again and hence signed their own death warrant for GE16.

Jupiter : Good news for Mr AK 47 - AI must proceed with all 47 charges to save his nuts.

PinkJaguar7289 : ā€œConvincing majorityā€ sounds grand, yet only 52.1% of eligible delegates attended, and the 1,857 ā€œyesā€ votes represent less than half the full delegate pool. The 242 dissenting votes merely gave a foregone conclusion the appearance of a struggle of conscience.

After all the red-line speeches, there is still no reform deadline, measurable demand or consequence for failure. DAP did not draw a line in the sand; it drew a curtain around its ministerial chairs.

Veteran 1972 : The massive political rally held at the Han Chiang High School field in Penang marked a historic turning point, drawing an estimated 60,000 red-shirted supporters ahead of the landmark 2008 general election and signaling an unprecedented shift in voter sentiment against Barisan Nasional.

DAP forgot the hard fight. Massive crowds exceeding tens of thousands flooded the school grounds in March 2008. The electric atmosphere at the field convinced opposition strategists that a major political wave was building.

The massive turnout preceded the historic results on March 8, 2008, which ended Barisan Nasional’s long-standing grip on Penang's state government. Legacy of the VenueThe Han Chiang field evolved into a symbolic focal point for Democratic Action Party (DAP) and opposition mega-ceremah gatherings in Penang.

Subsequent political events, fundraisers, and counter-events by rival coalitions utilized the grounds to measure grassroots support in the state.

Would you like to know more about the 2008 political tsunami in Penang or the history of DAP's campaigns in the state? No need la, get the DAP Leaders to know the struggles of the people, which they conveniently forgot after getting greased with perks and status, led by Anthony Loke

The end of DAP or Dopes is inevitable just like MCA bit the dust. Don't say you were NOT warned. How many red lines do you want to draw? Just like the kid who cried "wolf", you are so screwed DAP.

Optimus : The decision was no surprise; it felt like a scripted wayang from the start. DAP’s leadership and delegates have moved the red line yet again and hence signed their own death

MS : What we have is conclusive proof that the DAP of Karpal Singh is dead and cremated...the singular achievement of The Chameleon, a feat not achieved by either UMNO or PAS.

Truly Malaysian : Why nobody spoke on Teoh Beng Hock? Must be one of the conditions. Just a DAP wayang

Remember our ideals, Loke tells DAP delegates ahead of much-awaited decision : Veteran 1972 : Ah Loke ah, you forgot the ideals. You and your gang betrayed the voters. You let Anwar Ibrahim run riot over the Non Muslims of Malaysia after all the promises. Remember anak ..........?

apanama is back : Anthony Loke, a cool head should prevail. Loke, since Harapan is in the ICU now, DAP delegates should vote to join the ICU as well. Loke, "restrictions and weaknesses" do not allow you to be silent all the time.

Therefore, do not try to play with words to cover up your silence and incompetence. The voters in Sabah, Johor and N9 need to wake you up, since you have been in hibernation for over 3 years.

Why? Don't you read comments on the portal and social media? But you are good at sending troopers and trolls to spin, twist, cherry-pick, and 'ampu bodek,' rather than taking it as advice to improve.

Whatever the outcome of today's voting, you need to step down, and DAP deserve a better SG. Of course, the delegates won't let you go, but you failed miserably. Time's up for you.
