Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Malaysiakini : PAS MUKTAMAR | PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang accused the government of selectively deploying graft crackdowns to vilify its political rivals, while allegedly allowing its allies to escape calls for justice.
In his policy speech at the central PAS muktamar in Kota Bharu today, Hadi claimed that corruption issues in Malaysia are “frequently weaponised” as political ammunition to discredit opponents, rather than addressed as a “systemic evil” that must be eradicated.
“This manifests as selective prosecution where political rivals are targeted, while misconduct within one’s own ranks is overlooked, whether involving the bribegiver, the recipient, or the intermediary facilitating the corrupt deal,” the Marang MP said.
While the Islamist party’s leader did not specify any individuals, he named the delayed release of the royal commission of inquiry’s report on Tabung Haji as an instance when issues were utilised during an election campaign to impact the public standing of those implicated.
“There have been shortcomings in the management of public funds and GLCs, which we severely regret,” Hadi said.
“Such issues should be brought before a court of law once adequate proof is established, instead of being litigated in the media or on political stages, and certainly not weaponised as campaign fodder to create public prejudice, as occurred with the Tabung Haji RCI issue.”
A Little Bit Crazy : Alamak President Hadi,
Don't know why? Many commentators here do not like you because of the ways you paint black, accuse non Muslims.
But, somehow, when I think unusually positive, I feel very proud to be a non Muslim.
Because I found that you actually believe non Muslims in Malaysia can fly?
In your brilliant eyes, you can see non Muslims can fly, fly, fly very fast and high?
Non Muslims, can influence this and that national policies?
PKR's President Government is dominated by non Muslims? Omg, I thought Umno dominate the Unity Government? Suddenly Umno is so useless in your Hadi eyes?
Non Muslims give bribes, non Muslims do not respect Islam, non Muslims gamble, non Muslims cause disunity of Muslims, non Muslims control economy, non Muslims are the mother of all sins, non Muslims are very corrupted, non Muslims eat too much... ?
Every problem under the Sun in Malaysia, is because of non Muslims?
Non Muslims are supermen, can fly to Moon?
Alamak President Hadi, all 13 State Rulers are Muslims, all PM, from I to X, are Muslims. All Chief Judges are Muslims. Islam is well protected in Malaysia la.
RZee : Billions and millions lost in TH and FELDA. All run and mismanaged by Malays for the Malays. Fashion valet involved khazanah. Again by Malays for the Malays. The list goes on.
Tiger62 : This confirms that PAS supports corruption. Against gambling and corruptions, PAS willing to accept corruption which is bane to our country but, can't accept gambling that affects society. Sympathize with people who believes with this old man with strange ideologies.
Mechi : Since when this 90 million man has praised the Govt. Consistently back lashing is not our culture. Praise when due & criticize when warranted.
Don't be a back stabber. A really bad role model. Compared to the real late excellent spiritual leader Tuan Nik, this guy Hadi better start reading good books on effective leadership. He appears lost!!
spinnot : "Hadi today also claimed that under Pakatan Harapan chairperson Anwar's administration, the Malay-Muslim community has been put in a "precarious position" as the PKR president's government is "dominated by non-Muslim factions".
"
If "the PKR president's government" is really dominated by "non-Muslim factions", the UG most probably would have released the RCI report on TH 3 years ago.
Probably it's "the Muslim faction" (Umno) in the UG which was the main factor in the delayed release of the RCI report.
Take note that there is zero "non-Muslim faction" in the management of TH or in the audit of its financial statements.
